Ohio’s Grand Assembly will be held July 10-13,
2008 on the campus of Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio.
Housing. Housing is available on campus in the dormitories. The
cost this year (2008) will be $145.00. This includes three nights stay, and all meals
beginning with Thursday night dinner through Sunday morning breakfast,
and your registration for the entire session. Bed linen and towels
are not included in the $145. You
can either bring your own or linens will be available for $7.50. Visiting Grand Worthy
Advisors and Supreme Officers are our guests. The dorms are
Mather, Caples, McBride, and possibly Gund (which is
not air conditioned)..
Mom Morris's office will be located in Gund Commons, same place as last
year. However we will be dining this year in a new
location, across the street from the Athletic Center.
Hotels are also available in the area although very few are available
in Gambier itself. Your closest accommodations outside of Gambier
would be in Mt. Vernon only five miles from Gambier. See
this link from Kenyon's web site for a listing. Accommodations
Registration. Registration fees are included for all sessions
with your on-campus housing. Otherwise registration fees are as follows:

Food Services. Meals are included with your on-campus housing as
stated above. Meals are not available for purchase individually.
Sessions. Thursday 7:00 P.M. - Informal Opening
Friday 8:30 A.M. - Formal Opening and
Initiation, Memorial Service.
Friday 1:00 P.M. - Majority Degree, Elections,
Appointments
Friday 6:00 P.M. - Grand Cross of Color
Investiture
Saturday 8:30 A.M. - Balloting, Formal Closing, Courtesy to the G.W.A.
Saturday 7:00 P.M. - Installation of Officers
Sunday 8:30 A.M. - Religious Service
In addition to the above sessions there are two other events of note.
First there is a party on the green for all registrants at 7:00 P.M. on
Friday evening. Secondly, on Saturday afternoon we have Super Team
competitions at 2:00 P.M. Super Team competition consists of
"fun" field events with Districts entering their teams. There

Driving Directions and Maps. Kenyon College has a web
site that includes directions and maps. Go to Driving
Directions Sessions are held in the Kenyon
Athletic Center and registration will
be in Gund Commons where Mom Morris's Office will be located.
