Dress Code for Grand Assembly During our Ohio Grand Assembly we follow a specific dress code which all Rainbow Girls and adult women are expected to adhere to while attending Ohio Grand Assembly. Dress for the entire session, from the time you arrive until the time you leave is either a dress, skirt, or formal. Visiting Grand Officers wear formals to the sessions and street dresses the rest of the time. Other visiting Rainbow and adults may just wear street length dresses or skirts to the sessions. No mini skirts please. Black and other dark colors should not be worn. Formals and dresses are to have at least two inch shoulder straps. This means no strapless gowns, no spaghetti straps, etc. If you have a dress that does not meet this requirement you must have a wrap, stole, or sweater to "cover up". Even if this mode of dress is allowed in your home jurisdiction it is not allowed in Ohio. Please abide by our rules while in our Grand Jurisdiction. Shorts, jeans, or long pants may not be worn except in your dorm room! When leaving your dorm you must be properly dressed according to the dress code. There are only two exceptions to this rule. You may wear shorts or nice slacks to the Friday Night party and to the Super Team competition. Everywhere else the dress code is in effect, yes even if you go into town shopping. You are representing Rainbow! Thank you for abiding by our rules!
